ABOUT THE PAINTING
Silvereyes are certainly not the rarest of our native birds, but I think they one of the cutest. Their gorgeous lime green colouring and soft feathers remind me of moss, so thought it would be perfect to have them sitting snuggled on a mossy tree branch in this painting.
