Also known as New Zealand's Christmas tree, the pohutukawa is an iconic part of the NZ landscape, with it's gnarled trunk and vibrant red blooms. For me, the flowers always evoke memories of summer holidays on the beach, with the ever present pohutukawa tree, it's lovely low hanging branches and welcome shade to sit in. In this piece of art, I hope to capture some of that atmosphere of happy days in the sun, warm sea breezes, and watching the bees buzzing in the flowers.

My art prints are personally produced by me in my studio from high resolution scans of my originals. I use a professional fine art printer and 300gsm, museum grade 100% cotton rag paper which is acid and lignin free. Each print is inspected for quality and hand signed on the back before sending.
