An original artwork of a brown hare and wild poppies, painted with professional artist's acrylic on museum quality 300gsm watercolour paper which meaures 30x42cm (A3). Comes unframed and includes a certificate of authenticity. (Third photo shows example framing.)
For easy framing, a white mat border can be added on request, to fit a standard 11x14 inch frame. This costs an additional $50.
ABOUT THE PAINTING
The Brown Hare is native to Europe but also found in NZ - I've occasionally spotted one bounding along in the distance when out walking in the country. I chose poppies and a red-gold colour theme for this painting to compliment the beautiful russet tones of the hare's fur.
I usually include a little insect or critter of some sort somewhere in each of my paintings... this one is quite camoflagued - can you spot it?!
