MORE ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The plumage of a kingfisher is a spectacular study in blues - from bright shades of aqua to beautiful sapphire, vivid azure and deepest ultramarine.  Finding shades of pigment bright enough to capture the these colours was a challenge with this one... I had to unearth various tubes of paint that don't usually see the light of day very often!

  • Geneva

"Such a gorgeous piece of art and a real quality print of it too. I'm American but my husband is a kiwi and we're going to be settling down in the US but we wanted our daughter to have a little bit of New Zealand
in her nursery and this is it! And what a pretty little bit of New Zealand it is! :)"

  • Megan

"What a beautiful piece of artwork, so happy! My favourite bird, thank you! Was packaged perfectly too and arrived quickly."
