What's special about a stone portrait?
One of the unique things about a stone painting of your pet is that unlike traditional wall art, you can hold it in your hands, keep it on a favourite cabinet or shelf, or by your bed, on your desk for company while you work - even take it with you when you travel!
It's also a lovely keepsake to treasure in memory of an animal which has passed away. Many of my painted stones are commissioned as a special memorial item to keep with a pet's urn.

The Commission Process
♥︎ Purchase: Select the type of portrait you want from my Pet Portraits page, and make your purchase to secure your order.
♥︎ Photos: Email me photos of your pet -see the portrait order page for photo guidelines.
♥︎ Timeframe: The painting will be completed within the time specified on the order page.
♥︎ Approval: A photo of the finished artwork will be emailed to you for approval before posting. I can make alterations if requested.

Pet Memorial Gifts
A custom pet painting makes a special personalised gift for yourself or a loved one who has lost a furry family member. Our animal friends give us so much love and companionship, and leave a big hole in our lives when they go. A pet portrait is the perfect tribute to them and a beautiful reminder of happy times with a beloved cat or dog.

Each pet pebble or stone comes packaged in it's own envelope or box, with rustic twine and label, suitable for gift giving.

If your order is to be a gift, I can send it to the recipient's address if required. Gift wrapping with your own message hand-written in the card can be added to your order.

Do you have a waiting list?
I work on a 'first in, first served' basis. See below for current timeframes. These times may change during the year - I'm especially busy in the months leading up to Christmas so make sure you order your pet portrait in plenty of time if you're wanting it as a gift.
How long will it take to paint my pet portrait?
Current timeframe from date of purchase:
Painted Rocks: 2-3 weeks
Pebble Jewellery: 2 weeks
Once finished I'll email you a photo for approval before posting it out to you. See the Delivery Info page for shipping estimates for your country.
If you have a certain date in mind for a gift and are not sure if you'll receive it in time, please get in touch before ordering and I'll do my best to fit you in if possible.
What kind of photos do you require and how do I send them to you?
Photos I will need depend on what kind of portrait you are ordering.

How much does it cost?

Can I request alterations to the finished portrait?
Certainly - a photo will be emailed to you for approval before posting, and you can let me know if there's anything you'd like changed. It is important to me that you are 100% happy with your pet portrait.
Can the painted rocks be kept outdoors?
The stones are painted with professional artist acrylics and uv protective and water resistant varnish. I recommend keeping them indoors, as long term exposure to weather may eventually fade or damage the surface.
Do you paint portraits of other types of animals, or just cats and dogs?
Yes, but please contact me before placing your order if your pet is other than a cat or dog as I need to check if I have a suitable stone shape available first.
How will my pet rock or pebble be packaged?
♥︎ Each stone or pebble will come attractively packaged in its own box, with natural twine and label, suitable for gift giving.
♥︎ You can add gift wrapping to your order which includes a personalised message if you wish.
♥︎ Parcels will be packed securely for safe shipping. I use eco friendly and recycled materials whenever possible.
